During your studies, you will be able to participate in national and international research projects related to sport events, and you will be doing internships in sports organizations. The studies enable also collaboration and development for example with your own sports club. For top-level athletes at the national level, these studies provide a flexible way to combine sport and studies.
You can study parts of your studies abroad. As a sport business student, you can even apply for an exchange for one semester or take part in various short term abroad projects.

- UEFA Euro Cup 2012, Poland and Ukraine
- IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship 2012 and 2013, Helsinki and Stockholm
- Finnish Skiing Championships 2014, Jyväskylä
- Field Hockey World Championships 2014, Hague, The Netherlands
