SimReg -Pre-Service teachers' beliefs of self-regulated learning OPUT- Strengthening pedagogical quality- enhancing knowledge on inclusion and digital pedagogy
Developing
research-based teacher education.
Project
combines two separate sub-projects:
1)OPUT- sub
project aims to strengthen the research-based pedagogical quality, to enhance
the knowledge from inclusion and digital pedagogy, and the guidance and
counseling competence in teacher education. (1.9.-31.12.2021).
Into the
OPUT- project eight universities and all five school of professional teacher
education are participating. The project is coordinated by University of
Lapland.
Responsible
researcher from JAMK is Principal Lecturer Kaisa Räty, from the School of
Professional Teacher Education.
2)SimReg
-project: Pre-Service teachers' beliefs of self-regulated learning and the ways of supporting SRL -Piloting simulation environment in a context of online teaching. (1.1.-31.12.2022)
Project aims at studying teacher-students' perceptions of supporting
self-regulative learning in online simulation environment). During
the project vocational student teachers plan, conduct, and reflect a simulation exercise
on teaching practice with the support of their teacher educators before students' teaching practicum
module.
Participating institutions in the
SimReg -project are three teacher education units from three higher education institutions: University of Eastern Finland, University of Turku and JAMK University of Applied Sciences. The project is coordinated and led by Ass.prof Piia
Näykki from the University of Jyväskylä.
Responsible
researchers from JAMK are Senior Researcher Minna Silvennoinen, Principal
Researcher Sirpa Laitinen-Väänänen, and coordinator Heini Ikäheimo from the
School of Professional Teacher Education.
