SME Upscaling Academy

The SME Upscaling Academy (SUA) project started in September 2021. Now in it takes part six
HEIs and eight associated company partners from six European countries. The main purpose is that owner-manager of
senior manager from at least 140 SMEs will take part in this project and that
at least 40 % of them will be female-led. Chosen SMEs have been actively
trading for at least three years and demonstrate a clear ambition to globalize
and expand their organization.
Organizations involved in the project will operate within one of the four
Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KIC's) of the project: Manufacturing,
Digital & ICT, Raw Materials, or Energy & Sustainability.
Participating
Organizations will reap the benefits of the project through:
1) Monthly attendance at a peer mentoring
network that will provide ongoing support advice, and access to an informal
network of expertise support to develop a strategic plan providing a clear path
to reaching the next stage of growth between January 2022-June 2023.
2) Access to mentoring to support their
strategic plan development throughout the project.
3) A range of expert training events
relevant to their industry – organized as Knowledge Intensive Communities
(KICs).
4) Collaborating & engaging with
existing Support Organizations (incubators, consulting companies) relevant to
their industry engagement.
