MOVE YOUR MIND project is based on Ludodidactics, the planning and guidance of learning behavior and learning experiences. The project focuses on increasing the learning motivation of youth and young adults in vulnerable situations as well as increasing the possibilities of social inclusion. The project researches the theoretical frameworks of art education and the experiences of experiential learning experiences. Ludodidactics as the project's pedagogic and didactic framework also challenges to widen the perspectives of issues related to accessibility of learning as well as learner participation in the learning processes.
Project duration: 2022-2024.
In addition to Jamk University of Applied Sciences, the partners are HKU (Netherlands), TIRANTES (Netherlands), WEENER XL (Netherlands), FLORESHUYS (Netherlands), VUC STORSTRØM (Denmark), FONDAZIONE GUIDO D'AREZZO (Italy), AIEM (Italy), BAMM/MOOSS ( Belgium) and SVEB (Switzerland).

Project results
sivistyksen periaatteiden opettamiseen' (Ludo didactics for teaching the principles of eco-social education) which has been published in the Opekorkeassa tapahtuu blog. The first article includes also a summary in English. The project has produced two articles in English: ´Training students in gamified learning – Teachers´ experiences of Ludo didactics´ and ´Profile of the trainer´.
Learning theories have also been at the center of the mapping done by Jamk Senior Lecturers Jari Karttunen and Seija Koskela in the project and in the survey made for the project's partners.
The project has produced various modeling and implementation methods for using ludo didactics in education, as well as a material package for the project's website. Two people from Jamk's teaching staff have been trained in the use and application of Ludo didactics in teaching and learning. This training has resulted in a model for teaching eco-social education in higher education. The modeling is further developed and iterated during the project.
