Future
Prospects for Employment without Peat production -project aims to diminish
individual and familiar disadvantages of discontinuation of energy production
of peat for adolescents and their families, and for men over fifty years of age
who are unemployed or at risk for unemployment from area of peat-
production.
The project aims to help adolescents and men over 50 years of age to
accept the transition towards green energy production and to seek future
possibilities for employment and enterpreunership.
During the project, the
reciliency of adolescents and men will be supported through guidance of health,
well-being and career councelling. Nature based, cultural and musical methods
will be used to facilitate acceptance of transition and getting new ideas for
employment in future.
To encourage studies via e-learning, digitial skills of
the participants of the project will be streghtened in trainings, as well as
with help of digital support and guidance and cognitive accessible e-learning
environment.
Materials will be produced about themes of the project to support
adolescents, their families and men over fifity years of age, to manage over
the trancision towards more green, climate friendly ways for earning in the
future.
