Tuition fees

Finnish legislation on tuition fees obliges higher education institutions to collect tuition fees from students who do not have the citizenship of a country belonging to the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA) or a document exempting them from tuition fees. The fee for Bachelor's degrees at Jamk is 10,000 € / academic year and for Master's degrees 12,000 € / academic year.

Students who are liable to pay tuition fees can apply for a grant. In Bachelor's Degrees, grants are awarded after the first academic year at the earliest. The amount of the grant applied for after the first academic year is 4000 €. The second grant can be applied for after the second academic year. The amount of the second grant is 6000 €. The award of grants is tied to the student's Finnish language skills. The scholarship is awarded only to students who are present.
