12 European Agritech Startups Selected for EIT Food Test Farms Programme

Jamk University of Applied Sciences coordinates the EIT Food Test Farms programme in the Nordic region for 2025. This exciting initiative connects agritech startups with Nordic farms, creating an invaluable opportunity for both parties.

Through a thorough matchmaking process, 12 European agritech startups have now been paired with local farms to test and validate their innovative solutions. The diverse range of solutions includes those related to crop cultivation as well as livestock farming, which contribute to the sustainability of agriculture, precision farming, digital traceability, and CO2 monitoring.

The EIT Food Test Farms programme allows farmers to experience the latest advancements in agritech firsthand, while providing startups with the chance to test and validate their technologies in real farm environments. This collaboration will foster innovation and growth in the agricultural sector, benefiting both farmers and startup entrepreneurs alike. Additionally, the participants and farmers will receive financial compensation through the programme. 

Farmers and agritech enthusiasts will also have the opportunity to see these innovations in action at the AgriVenture Finland 2025 as a part of the Farming 3.0 Field Demo Day event on May 27th, where the participating startups will be showcasing their groundbreaking solutions.
