EIT food testfarms webinar 041124 teaser

The EIT Food Test farms programme provides farms with the opportunity to test the latest technologies, and concrete testing environments for startups developing the technologies.

During 2024, the programme supported 104 European startup companies from 15 different countries in their product development efforts. Practical tests were conducted in Poland, Spain, Bulgaria, Romania, and Italy. In 2025, the programme will expand its operations to the Nordic countries.

The Test farms programme enables European startup companies to test their product ideas in a real farm environment with the assistance of industry experts. Jamk will act as the Nordic contact point for the programme and help selected startups find suitable test farms in the Nordic countries and plan the upcoming tests. The programme compensates selected startups up to €3000 per case and farms €1000 per collaboration.

Jamk is seeking both innovative startups to apply and pioneering farms to test the latest solutions in the field for the implementation of the Test farms programme. The startup application for the Test farms programme is open until 22 November 2024. Test farms can apply via the following link: https://www.eitfood.eu/projects/test-farms
