A project led by Jamk's School of Health and Social Studies has been selected for funding in the Erasmus+ CBHE 2023 call (Capacity building in the field of higher education Strand 2). The PalcNet project focuses on the development of nursing education and training for new talents of palliative care in China. The amount of the grant is 800 000 EUR, and the project lasting 36 months will start in January 2024.
Preparations for the Grant Agreement are currently underway with the support of the project partner organisations. In addition to Jamk, the PalcNet project consortium consists of two European and four Chinese partners:
- Jamk University of Applied Sciences, Finland (project coordinator)
- Hanze University of Applied Sciences, The Netherlands
- University of Ramon Llull, Spain
- Beihua University, China
- Harbin Medical University, China
- Guangzhou Health Science College, China
- Peking Union Medical College Hospital, China
The project will strengthen the operations of the School of Health and Social Studies in China and reinforce Jamk's position as an expert in the development of international education.
