The Professional Teacher Education Programme is designed for adult professionals from various fields. As a rule, applicants must have a suitable higher-education degree and at least three years' work experience. Depending on the student’s background, the programme usually takes 1–2 years to complete.
In the internationally oriented, multicultural study group the language of the studies is English. Most of the students will complete the programme while working full time. In addition to face-to-face and hybrid sessions, the programme consists of individual and group-based e-learning tasks and practical training as a facilitator of learning.
Application for the Professional Teacher Education programme are submitted via the studyinfo.fi service. The next application period will begin on 2 January and close on 23 January 2020.
