Professional Teacher Education Student
Internationalisation
The objective of the School of Professional Teacher Education is to support and promote the abilities of teacher students and those already qualified as teachers to operate in international operating environments.
The curriculum of all students of the School of Professional Teacher Education contains learning tasks and content related to internationalisation. Furthermore, students may select optional courses related to internationalisation. Teacher students have the opportunity to study abroad through the cooperation network of the Jamk University of Applied Sciences or through the students’ own networks.
Partner list and institutions’ info material for students applying for exchange can be found from Elmo intra. Use keyword "teacher education" to filter out the partners of the School of Professional Teacher Education.
When preparing a competence development plan (CDP), students may plan to complete a part of their studies in the international student exchange programmes. You should discuss the matter with your instructor in the CDP discussion or by contacting your Study Counsellor. For practical issues concerning student exchange, such as grants, applications and other documents related to student mobility, contact the Jamk International Services.
You can discuss the content-related issues of your studies with your instructor or with the international coordinator of the School of Professional Teacher Education, Graham Burns.
