Paper machine Technology International Skills-Up Training, China, 2012 - 2013

An expert team from Jamk School of Technology provided a two-years paper machine technology training series to about 100 Valmet’s employees in China.

Client: Valmet Pty Ltd., the leading global developer and supplier of technologies, automation and services for the pulp, paper and energy industries.

This training covered knowledge areas of paper machine technology, process technology, cardboard manufacturing process, automation, maintenance, energy and production efficiency as well as sustainable development. 

Based on customer’s requirements, Jamk delivered the training by a step-by-step approach in three phases, started from an introductory foundation course to a Bachelor-level Paper Machine Technology module, which is continued by a Master-level Paper Production Engineering and Technology module. 

Through this training participants received holistic knowledge of paper machine technology, honed their competences and increased their performance at work.
