Developing Entrepreneurial Higher Education Institutions to Support, Harness Innovation and Build Entrepreneurship Capacity in SMEs in the NPA Area (9252)

The HEISME project will 

• better utilise existing innovation and entrepreneurial capability by enhancing the business support services (BSSs) offered by multi-campus higher education institutions (HEIs) to meet common challenges facing NPA SMEs, 
• for the first time, map and define the role of HEIs in support provision, identifying deficits, and 
• test new BSSs tools, in collaboration with SMEs and enterprise support
  agencies. 

HEISME will improve entrepreneurial and innovative business by providing
better supports to start-ups and existing SMEs/representative bodies (e.g.,
Chambers of Commerce), enhancing their competitiveness, sustainability
and export potential.
