RDI2CluB and ConnectedByBiobord
Connecting bioeconomy developers around Baltic Sea region

This website presents RDI2CluB (10/2017 - 09/2020) and its extension stage project ConnectedByBiobord (10/2020 - 06/2021). These projects unite authorities, RDI institutes (Research, Development and Innovation institutes) and business development bodies from five regions to a joint quest for boosting smart and sustainable bioeconomy development in the rural areas of Baltic Sea Region. Our mission is to help rural areas in the Baltic Sea Region to reach their full potential in bioeconomy. The projects were co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
After the projects, our work continues in the Biobord.eu. Biobord is a network that brings together bioeconomy developers throughout the rural areas of Baltic Sea region to a joint table to solve global and local challenges with bioeconomy innovations. The continued aim is to connect specialised bioeconomy regions and their innovation networks to share ideas, find partners and work together to create business opportunities in the field of bioeconomy. Together we built knowledge and raised awareness on sustainable and viable bioeconomy business potentials in the regions.
