Introduction to Digital Rehabilitation — MOOC
This course is the final product of the multinational Erasmus+ funded DIRENE project. The course is a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). Completing this course requires the learner to be self-directed. The course consists of seven modules, of which five are theory-oriented and the other two are instructive and debriefing.
The workload of this course is 2 ECTS. After completing the modules and answering the post-questionnaire, the learner will get a certificate to confirm their completion.
The purpose of this course is to give an introduction and insight to Digital Rehabilitation. After completing the course, the learner is able to:
- explain the key terms in Digital Rehabilitation,
- describe what technologies can be applied in rehabilitation,
- acknowledge the factors related to eAccessibility,
- identify what competences clients need to have when using digital solutions in rehabilitation,
- select suitable tools for communicating with clients and with interdisciplinary teams,
- explain what kind of legislation and data security issues need to be considered when using Digital Rehabilitation and
- recognize possible ethical issues relating to Digital Rehabilitation.
Enrollment in the course begins on March 13, 2023, at 16:00 (CET). The MOOC will be updated and maintained for two years, until March 31, 2025.
