Circular Economy Excellence for Finnish UAS
The project of “Circular economy know-how into Universities of Applied Sciences” brings together 19 Universities of Applied Sciences to develop multidisciplinary education in order to increase the role of circular economy in education and RDI-work. In JAMK University of Applied Sciences the project focuses in circular economy in the field of bioeconomy.
Goals
- Increasing the circular economy know-how with Industry 4.0 models of thinking and operations
- Open, high-quality planning and piloting of education with focus on internationality
Education will be improved by creating working life oriented course contents, learning environments and teaching methods within circular economy and by creating multilingual circular economy studies. The project improves co-operation and open working culture between the partner universities of applied sciences.
Background
The project of Circular economy know-how into Universities of Applied Science is a top project funded by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Finland. The project runs through 2018 – 2020 and will be coordinated by the Lapland University of Applied Sciences.
